Before the Spring Sunrise
Photo of the Day 124/365
I took this photo last week on an early monring drive to work. I stopped a a local tree farm and was able to get this shot before I had to head on in to work. The sky wasn't as brilliant as I'd have liked but you take what is given when you're on the road. I also really liked the dirt road leading into the frame - it leads to a pond that I want to get photos of, but haven't had th time to ask - yet.

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken a few years ago when we were out for a drive with my in-laws through that back country of Central PA. We saw an old school house left to the elements. I asked them to stop and my wife and I took a closer look. The vines (much of it poison ivy), had overtaken the building and while the farmer mowed around it, there was no effort to reclaim it - despite there being furniture inside and such.
