Snow and Ice by the Lake
Photo of the Day 51/365
This photo was taken at our local State Park (Gifford Pinchot) and it was a cold sunset sky. It had been cold enough for some time for the lake to freeze over. The snow had started to melt due to the sunshine and that eveing, the sunset was wonderful (but cold). That lade is and will be, one of my fave local spots.

Friday Nature: This photo was taken a few years ago at our old home. It is not a pretty photo but it is nature. These plant "leftovers" were what was left of coneflowers after snow and ice got to them. We never pruned them so year-after-year they just withered and died and new ones would come up. All of it, just left to nature. However, this photo almost looks like abstract art and I still liked it.
