Sunset Colors on the River Photo of the Day 334/365 I shot this photo last weekend on the way home from our capital city. We were on a run to get a cultural meal and we were just past sunser on the way home. I took a lot of photos while on the move, to try to capture the sunset colors with the river. I managed to get two that I liked, despite the movement of the car. This was one of the those two.

Bare Tree and Sunset Clouds Photo of the Day 333/365 I went out for a very brief sunset walk with my daughter last evening and it was very brisk. The air temperature was just about freezing and very windy. I wanted to see what I could see and found our neighbors tree devoid of any of autumn foliage - it seemed so stark, but it let the sunset colors show through it's branches - still very pretty.

Thanksgiving Sunset Sky Photo of the day 332/365 This photo was taken last evening near our son's home. Our daughter left a little early and had texted me a couple of photos that made me wonder what the sky looked like. So I ventured outside across their street tothe fields and foudn this sky. The sun had already set and the gray clouds were above - but at the horizon, things were very different, and I was thankful I could capture this.

Misty Morning and Autumn Color Photo of the Day 331/365 I took this photo the other morning when I went to leave to go to work. The weather reporter said there was a fog warning and I paid it no heed, until I stepped outside. I looked down our driveway and saw this last holdout for autumn's colors with the mist in the background and grabbed a couple of shots. I think it came out nicely. Happy Thanksgiving Day, everyone!

Sunset with Bands of Red and Gold Photo of the Day 330/365 I took this photo just after the sun set behind the far hill and trees. You can still see the yellow glow on the hill where the sun had been just a moment before. I really liked the bands of color in the clouds - reds, oranges, yellow, golds, and some almost hinting at blue. I can't believe there's only 35 days left in the year and that tomrrow is Thanksgiving (in the USA) - I have much to be thankful for - I hope you do, too.

Floating Sunset Clouds Photo of the Day 329/365 I took this photo two days ago while on a quick scramble to catch a sunset from the neighborhood. I tried different angles, but I like this one the best. I like the wispy clouds just floating by - not too many, not too few, just dotting the sky with their gold and red colors.This is a pretty wide view of the neighbor's field - any closer would have zeroed in on a single cloud and that wasn't as nice of a view.

Blazaing Sunset Sky and Pine Tree Photo of the Day 328/365 This photo was taken awhile back in eaither last summer or early fall. I wasn't sure that this would be a "good" photo as the pine tree and the sky almost fight to be the main subject. I like the photo and I like how the sun is just setting - but there are pluses and minuses to this one. I'll post it and see how others react on Facebook and Instagram.
