Sunrise Reflection on the Pond

I took this photo earlier this week. It was a good week for sunrises. I caught my share of those photos that I can only get once or twice per year. This is another - there are only so many days where the sun is in a position that I can get to this pond and catch the reflection of the sunrise and the weather Gods looked favorably on me this year!

This photo is one I took yesterday. This marble is one which has a story. We were on vacation in West Virginia with some Friends when we came upon a glass shop where the owner created works of art in glass. One of  his offerings was to custom create marbles. Many times he would sell his creations online but if you were in his shop, he would let you choose various components and create it, and you could pick it up the next day. That is what I did - it is purple with silver flecks and I like it alot.

Red Tinged Clouds over the Trees Photo of the Day 345/366 I took the photo last week on the way home. It was a wonderful sunset sky and I couldn't pass up taking a number of shots while it was available. These clouds with the red edges from the setting sun were a wonderful sight over these trees just behind the rolling field in the foreground. A nice evening sky for sure.

    Photo of the Day 307/365  Autumn Colors on Display by the Creek This photo was taken last weekend on our mini-vacation. We were on our way home and happened to find a pull-off - in the rain - and I took some photos by this creek. The colors just seemed to pop in the damp drizzly weather but the camera couldn't quite capture the bright colors. I didn't want to over-edit it but this is close to what I experienced that moment.

Tracks into the Sunset Photo of the Day 342/366 This photo was taken last evening on the way home from work. I took a number of photos and could not quite get the sun peeking through  the clouds. This is the closest I got. I love the colors in the sky and the reflections in the railroad tracks. I've taken this scene before, but it always makes me think of life moving on and on, rolling into the sunset of life - as I get older, those thoughts become more frequent.
