Wispy Clouds at Sunset

I took this photo a few days ago. I just love when the sun peeks out behind a cloud and seems to suddenly burst out with brightness. I took a wider view of this sunset and caught the faint blues along with the bright golds and yellows in the sky. The sunsets have truly been outstanding this year and I'm not complaining.

I took this photo a few weeks ago at a local "watering hole". Some of my fellow karate school students get together there to unwind informally and have some social time. At this venue, they usually have a local band playing - sometimes good, sometimes, just OK.  This night it was pretty good and seemed to have a good time.

Red Tinged Clouds over the Trees Photo of the Day 345/366 I took the photo last week on the way home. It was a wonderful sunset sky and I couldn't pass up taking a number of shots while it was available. These clouds with the red edges from the setting sun were a wonderful sight over these trees just behind the rolling field in the foreground. A nice evening sky for sure.

    Photo of the Day 307/365  Autumn Colors on Display by the Creek This photo was taken last weekend on our mini-vacation. We were on our way home and happened to find a pull-off - in the rain - and I took some photos by this creek. The colors just seemed to pop in the damp drizzly weather but the camera couldn't quite capture the bright colors. I didn't want to over-edit it but this is close to what I experienced that moment.

Tracks into the Sunset Photo of the Day 342/366 This photo was taken last evening on the way home from work. I took a number of photos and could not quite get the sun peeking through  the clouds. This is the closest I got. I love the colors in the sky and the reflections in the railroad tracks. I've taken this scene before, but it always makes me think of life moving on and on, rolling into the sunset of life - as I get older, those thoughts become more frequent.
