Afternoon Sun over the Orchard

While on our way home, I noted that the sky was very gray, but there was a hole in the clouds that might prove to make a good photo. My wife suggested a spot we've gone to before which was very near. We went and I found that they had planted an orchard. The break in the afternoon clouds lit up the orchard and this show was the result.

Sunday Street Photography

This photo was taken some years ago in New Orleans. It was, if I remember, our first morning and we were walking around after breakfast. The streets looked barren after the street crews cleaned  up after a partying Saturday night. This horse and carriage were just standing, seeming waiting for someone to ride.
