Sunrise Breaking over the Field and Pond

I took this photo yesterday morning on the way to work. It was my last attempt before taking off for a needed vacation. Just the right moment on the way to work - I just pulled off the road and jumped out and took this with my iPhone. I'd love to have gotten closer to the pond, but it IS private property and I don't want to appear to be a creeper - the water is down right now.  Sometimes there is more water and even geese or ducks - but at this time, I just had to take what I could get.

Friday Creative:  I took this photo a few years ago while on a business trip to St. Louis, Missouri. There was a sculpture garden that we happened to find. There were many interesting sculptures - mostly of a modernist nature. That type is not to my liking, normally, but the presentation and, perhaps, the time I visited (last afternoon) made it much more enjoyable. I like this one for the repeating circles.

    Photo of the Day 307/365  Autumn Colors on Display by the Creek This photo was taken last weekend on our mini-vacation. We were on our way home and happened to find a pull-off - in the rain - and I took some photos by this creek. The colors just seemed to pop in the damp drizzly weather but the camera couldn't quite capture the bright colors. I didn't want to over-edit it but this is close to what I experienced that moment.

Red Tinged Clouds over the Trees Photo of the Day 345/366 I took the photo last week on the way home. It was a wonderful sunset sky and I couldn't pass up taking a number of shots while it was available. These clouds with the red edges from the setting sun were a wonderful sight over these trees just behind the rolling field in the foreground. A nice evening sky for sure.

Tracks into the Sunset Photo of the Day 342/366 This photo was taken last evening on the way home from work. I took a number of photos and could not quite get the sun peeking through  the clouds. This is the closest I got. I love the colors in the sky and the reflections in the railroad tracks. I've taken this scene before, but it always makes me think of life moving on and on, rolling into the sunset of life - as I get older, those thoughts become more frequent.
