Stippled Sunrise Sky Reflecting in the Creek

I took this photo yesterday morning. This part of the creek in on the property of the University where I work. This time of year, the sunrise skies can be spectacular, and yesterday was no exception. The sky showed all the colors of rainbow (except for green), and the reflection in water just sealed the photo as wonderful. I can't be more thankful than I am for what I have. Happy Thanksgiving to all who read this.

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Thursday Architecture: This photo was taken on my first venture to Colonial Williamsburg. My in-laws, my wife, and I went on a extended weekend trip there.  Unfortunately, my in-laws became ill and my wife and I did the tours. As I said, it was my first time there, and I took TOO MANY photos, but it was worth it and I need to go again - but perhaps in the later spring or fall, rather than February.

Red Tinged Clouds over the Trees Photo of the Day 345/366 I took the photo last week on the way home. It was a wonderful sunset sky and I couldn't pass up taking a number of shots while it was available. These clouds with the red edges from the setting sun were a wonderful sight over these trees just behind the rolling field in the foreground. A nice evening sky for sure.

    Photo of the Day 307/365  Autumn Colors on Display by the Creek This photo was taken last weekend on our mini-vacation. We were on our way home and happened to find a pull-off - in the rain - and I took some photos by this creek. The colors just seemed to pop in the damp drizzly weather but the camera couldn't quite capture the bright colors. I didn't want to over-edit it but this is close to what I experienced that moment.

Tracks into the Sunset Photo of the Day 342/366 This photo was taken last evening on the way home from work. I took a number of photos and could not quite get the sun peeking through  the clouds. This is the closest I got. I love the colors in the sky and the reflections in the railroad tracks. I've taken this scene before, but it always makes me think of life moving on and on, rolling into the sunset of life - as I get older, those thoughts become more frequent.
