Sunset Light Reflection on the Barn

Photo of the Day 74/365

This photo was taken last fall but sat in my archives and after viewing it again, I could not pass up posting it. The full tree would give away that it was not taken very recently. Our trees are still bare but soon, they'll look like this again. The skies will be awesome (well, they are now, but not like this) and I'll be back out walking more - and the temperatures will moderate. That's the way of weather here. Enjoy!

Saturday Nature: This photo was taken from our trip to Cape Cod two years ago. That seagull was more interested in looking for food or other gulls, than he was in me, so I could shoot close. We really liked Cape Cod and are going to try again this autumn to see what it's like in a little warmer temperature than November. The shots I got were spectacular and I hope for many repeats.

Red Tinged Clouds over the Trees Photo of the Day 345/366 I took the photo last week on the way home. It was a wonderful sunset sky and I couldn't pass up taking a number of shots while it was available. These clouds with the red edges from the setting sun were a wonderful sight over these trees just behind the rolling field in the foreground. A nice evening sky for sure.

    Photo of the Day 307/365  Autumn Colors on Display by the Creek This photo was taken last weekend on our mini-vacation. We were on our way home and happened to find a pull-off - in the rain - and I took some photos by this creek. The colors just seemed to pop in the damp drizzly weather but the camera couldn't quite capture the bright colors. I didn't want to over-edit it but this is close to what I experienced that moment.

Tracks into the Sunset Photo of the Day 342/366 This photo was taken last evening on the way home from work. I took a number of photos and could not quite get the sun peeking through  the clouds. This is the closest I got. I love the colors in the sky and the reflections in the railroad tracks. I've taken this scene before, but it always makes me think of life moving on and on, rolling into the sunset of life - as I get older, those thoughts become more frequent.
