Misty Valley at Sunrise

Photo of the Day 96/365

This photo was taken some time ago, but as we've had gray skies for the past few days, I thought I'd bring this one out of my archives and post it. I really like the sky and the mist in the valley. As I recall, it was a cool spring morning when I took this photo - the kind of morning you want to store away so you can remember what a spring day SHOULD feel like.

Looking Up from the Old Barn

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken some time ago near our old home. I was out for a walk on a clear, puffy-cloud day. The barn in the photo was old and not kept very well. I loved the feel and look of the weathered wood and the clear sky. I thought then that doing the photo in black and whtie would emphaize the differing textures.
