Sunset in the Back Yards

On the drive back from dinner last evening, we were leading some out-of-town family to our home and decided to take the "scenic route".  At dinner the clouds seemed ominous, but as we were leaving, I noted at how pretty the sky was.  On that scenic route, I tried to capture some photos of the sky. This was one of the photos I managed to get.  It was worth it.

Spring Spider Web

Saturday Nature:  A spider web showing up on a spring morning shows nature in it's wonder very well indeed, in my opinion. The spider's web shows the potential patterns of nature, the purpose of catchin prey is nature in motion, the green of the foliage shows the foliage and plant growth of the new season.  I also just think the spider's web is cool.

Red Tinged Clouds over the Trees Photo of the Day 345/366 I took the photo last week on the way home. It was a wonderful sunset sky and I couldn't pass up taking a number of shots while it was available. These clouds with the red edges from the setting sun were a wonderful sight over these trees just behind the rolling field in the foreground. A nice evening sky for sure.

    Photo of the Day 307/365  Autumn Colors on Display by the Creek This photo was taken last weekend on our mini-vacation. We were on our way home and happened to find a pull-off - in the rain - and I took some photos by this creek. The colors just seemed to pop in the damp drizzly weather but the camera couldn't quite capture the bright colors. I didn't want to over-edit it but this is close to what I experienced that moment.

Tracks into the Sunset Photo of the Day 342/366 This photo was taken last evening on the way home from work. I took a number of photos and could not quite get the sun peeking through  the clouds. This is the closest I got. I love the colors in the sky and the reflections in the railroad tracks. I've taken this scene before, but it always makes me think of life moving on and on, rolling into the sunset of life - as I get older, those thoughts become more frequent.
