Sunset Sky over the Fields

I went out to get some adult beverages at our local store. I noted that the sky was VERY pretty and nearing sunset but at that point where the sun was too bright. On the way home, I stopped and the sun was still not in the right place until I parked my car in the driveway.  Then I had to run to the neighbor's farm and try to capture what I saw. This photo is the result - try and try again - until you get it. The photo below was also taken yesterday, at almost the same spot - but MUCH earler in the afternoon.

Sunday Monochrome:  My daughter and I were out for a walk in the afternoon. The lcouds drifted by - sometimes the clouds were puffy, sometimes ominouse. During one of the times when they were more puffy and the sky had bright blue openings, I decide to try to get a black-and-white shot on my phone using the app Firstlight - in Infrared Mode Via, it is my go-to for monochrome photos of skies. I really like sky as well as the texture of the field.
