noon at Schoodic Bay
Photo of the Day 167/365
This photo will bring me good memories for a long time. We visited Acadia National Park about 2 weeks ago and on one of the last days, we went to Schoodic and on our way out he asked to stop at a pull off. He jumpted out of the car and went running on the rocks. His wife and I followed to take photos. He wanted a last chance to run/jump on the rocks. You can barely see him at the left of the just to the right of the pine tree. It was a great trip and I can't wait to get back.

Singing Bowls
Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Monday Fill-the-Frame: These are my singing bowls. They are not the big ones but are still beautiful and sound (to me) just as beautiful. To make them sing, most people think you strike them first and then keep the sound moving by moving the wooden peg around. This is incorrect, you (should) start by silently touching the peg to the bowl and moving it around the rim in and make it sing gently - that's where the meditative aspects come from. Smaller bowls are harder to make sing than larger ones, too.
