Pretty Morning Sky
Photo of the Day 184/365
I was on my normal drive into work yesterday, and among the gray clouds of the morning, I spotted this part of the sky. It almost looked like a sunrise. This time of yea, I almost NEVER, see the sunrise - at least at a place I can take photos. I pulled off the road and tried to capture what I saw. The golds and yellows among the clouds make me think of dawn and this was the result.

Purple Coneflowers

Thursday Color: We were at our son's place last eveing and as we were getting ready to leave, I saw these flowers. They were bathed in the light of the late afternoon, almost evening. Purple has always been my favorite color so I had to try to grab a few photos, so I used "portrait mode" on the iPhone and took this shot. I like it the brilliance of the colors.
