Clouds Cross the Setting Sun

I took this photo this week while hoping to catch a few clouds. Initially, I did not see the clouds but after a few minutes of waiting, they drifted across the horizon.  The thin band of clouds just wafted their way across the horizon and eventually, while I watched, they tried to cover the sun but only managed to cross over parts of it, before it set in the west. Zooming in as far as I could made this image possible.

Saturday Nature: Sometimes, I look back in my archives and find photos that I had forgotten about. This is such a photo. I had taken this a few years ago when I lived in my last home. The neighbor had an electic fence which sometimes on, and sometimes not. I guess the bird figured it out and perched there in front of  the barn's wall, near the fence post. I was able to catch one shot before it flew away.
