Clouds Blanket the Setting Sun
Photo of the Day 187/365
Last evening, I had no real hope for an interesting sunset. We had been out with friends almost all day - which was really nice. There was blue skies, no clouds, and warm temperatures. The cloudless sky did not bode well for a sunset, but I was very surprised when I saw the sun being slowly covered by the blankets of clouds on the horizon. I was able to get out there with my "big iron" - a Sony A7IV and get the shot. I think it was worth it.

Sweeping Clouds and Jet Trails
Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken earlier in the year on a late afternoon walk. The leaves were not out yeat and the sky had windswept clouds near the horizon. The jet trail seemed to sweep wiht the clouds, right along the tree line. I did not look as good in color as it does in black and white.
