 Sun Saying Good Evening

This photo was taken last evening. Whenever there is a chance of a sunset sky, I usually will make an effort to try to get a photo or two (or 10 or more).  Last evening was not exception, and despite 2.5 mile hike earlier, I still ventured out. I caught the sky but there was a large dark cloud so my hopes were on the edge. Then when I was about to give up, the sun burst through just at the bottom edge of the cloud and putr on a show.

Sunday Monochrome: My daughter and I went on a 2.5 mile hike yesterday at a lake that is north of our capitol city, Harrisburg. The lake is called Wildwood Lake and there is a trail that surrounds it. We did not make it all the way around, but it was a really nice day so we made a good dent in it. Along the way we saw wildlife, and the reeds and lily pads that are in the lake. This view was across the lake and accentuates the dark blue sky and puffy clouds of the day. It was a good day.
