Sunset through the Trees

Photo of the Day 247/365

A few nights ago, my wife and I were out running errands and we took a few back roads to get home. We had stopped by some nice scenes (and yes, I did capture them) - but this place, one of the last stops really caught my eye. I tried to get an angle that elminated all the close branches but could not, so I got this. In the end, I think the branches seem to give some framing to the image and I like them there, after all.

Thursday Colors:  I captured this photo earlier this year at my in-laws home. While I love vibrant colors, I r4eally like shades of purple. These tiny flowers caught my eye. The soft purple hue and the small size of these tiny flowers just drew me in, along with the contrast of the green. We likely won't have another spring at their home, as we are selling it, so I want to have memories of their work growing these flowers.
