Sunset Behind the Pilgrim Monument
Photo of the Day 261/365
We were in Provincetown two evenings ago and were late to the game to get up to the Pilgrim's Monument. In fact, we took the last "elevator" up to the monument from downtown. We got up there and took some shots, and this one was my favorite with the sun setting behind it. It's a little skewed due to the wide angle lens, but it's still cool to me. Unfortunately we took to long and had to walk the long way around to get back down. It was worth the view.

Roses on Nantucket
Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Thursday Colors: We took the ferry to Nantucket yesterday and walked about. We had every positive intention, but the weather disagreed and it started to rain (and rain, and rain). I did manage a few photos and this one, of the still-blooming roses. There were few photo opportunities, but plenty of memory-making opportunities.
