 Sunset over Buzzards Bay

Photo of the Day 264/365

We took a drive on our last day on Cape Cod and my wife did a spectacular job at trying to find me places to take sunset photos from. She chose, on this last night, Buzzards Bay. It was relatively close to where we were staying and we'd never been there before. We explored and found some very interesting sights, but the sunset was spectacular over the harbor. The reflections in the water was great and the sky and clouds could not have been better. I've thanked her a number of times for best last night.

New England Pond View

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken over a pond formed to run a grist mill in Sandwich, MA. The mill was named Dexter's Mill and the tour was fantastic and the views even better. I took this in black and white and was happy with the reflections, the stark white of the mill race and the church steeple in the background. I think it came out very well, indeed. Below is a photo of the mill, itself.
