Wild Sunset Sky and Deep Blue Hills
Photo of the Day 285/365
Last evening, after a cloudy, dreary day, I wasn't expecting much for a sunset sky. I looked out the front window of our home and saw some color and decided to take a chance. I went out for a sunset walk and made it into the neighbor's field and this view hit me. The super bright colors only lasted a few shots, but I took advantage and grabbed what I could. The balance of color between the reds and the blues (sky AND hills) was just outstanding - I am SO glad I went for that walk.

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was pulled from my archives, just because it's one I really have liked. Due to it being 19 years old and I've not published it before, I thought it was about time. It was a study, at the time, of what I saw on a walk in the woods - back at our cabin. It does bring back memories for me - not for anyone else - so it deserves to be posted.
