Last Slice of Sunset
Photo of the Day 320/365
My daughter cajoled me into a walk late in the afternoon yesterday. I stated that with the clouds, there wouldn't be much of a sunset. She said, "you never know." So off we went - and I thought, it's a good walk anyway. Well, I was wrong. Near the midpoint of our walk, the sun dipped under the clouds and I was able to get a number of different shots. This one is one of my favs. The last, tiny, slice of sun behind the bare trees, with the distant hills - all come together to make a shot I really like.

Cloud Reflections on the Bay

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken earier this fall on our trip to Cape Cod. We were on the ferry headed to Nantucket and I saw how the sun lit up the clouds and how they were reflecting in the ocean. I used my phone to grab a few photos. The clouds pile up quickly and midway of the day in Nantucket, it started to rain and didn't stop for the day. It was still fun and full of memories, though.
