Lines in the Field in the Afternoon

This photo was taken a couple of days ago while I was out for a late afternoon walk. I was too early for a sunset (which turned out to be cloudless anyway) and I was looking for a photo subject. The clouds were clustered in a single part of the sky and as I cleared a tree line, I saw the patterns in the field grass in the later afternoon light - just in front of those few clouds. This was the resulting shot.

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was take in an old building which we were in for an auto show. The particular building was for the "used cars" and the windows looked just like an old factory would have looked and that's what I envisioned. Due to the contrast, the photo is almost purely black and white and I've alsways liked it.
