Sunrays, Field Grass, and Rolling Hills
Photo of the Day 5/365
I went out for a brief walk yesterday afternoon. The sky was laden with clouds, but hope springs eternal and I was hoping for something to come out in the sky. At this time of year, the sun, at sunset, is way up the field and I have to walk a ways to see much. The clouds were hangiing tough, but the sun decided to break through briefly and provide some light and color to the field so I grabbed an image or two and I really like what came out.

Woodpile in the Snow
Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Monday Free-Choice: This image was taken a few years ago at our old home. The neighbors, at that time, heated with wood and had more than a few wood piles about the property. I grabbed this image while out on a walk on a snowy afternoon. It just seemed very "country" and nostalgic. The farm, since that time, has grown substantially and become mostly a horse farm - but this image remains as a symbol of what was.
