Cold Sunset Fire in the Trees

Photo of the Day 12/365

I took this photo last evening I decided to go out for a sunset walk. Earlier in the day, the temperatures had not been too bad. However, Mother Nature did a turnabout and the winds were howling and the temperatures had dropped substantially as the sun was fading into night. The sun was bright so I had to wait until this moment to get (IMHO) the best photo.

Cold Afternoon Across the Field

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Free-Choice: This photo was taken last fall when my youngest and I decided to take our new dog on one of his first "real" walks at a nearby military museum. We walked and looked at the various outdoor installations and displays. At one point, I looked out at the area across from the museum and this view caught my eye. I liked the split rail fence and how it looks like it felt - cold.
