Sunset on the Way Home
Photo of the Day 18/365
My daughter dropped her phone a few days ago and was, of course, traumatized as she wasn't sure where except it was in the city. We got a call that night from a kind soul who had found it. We went last night to get the phone and on the way home, this sunset presented itself on the highway. Of course, I took too many photos, but I liked how this one came out. I like the balance of the cars and light poles with the sun.
Quote of the Day: "O, how bitter a thing it is to look into happiness through another man's eyes!" - William Shakespeare
Bench in the Snow
Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken a few years ago while walking from my car to my office on campus. There had been a light dusting of snow and it was cold. You can see the still-light coating of snow in the far fields. This bench and this view has now been replaced due to the need to re-landscape for proper drainage. It was a nice view, at the time.
