Late Afternoon Sky over the Field
Photo of the Day 65/365
I took this photo earlier in the winter on one of our snowless days. The sky was beautiful, and I managed to get this shot after the sun had already set. The clouds almost seem to lead you across the field and into the hills. The field grass that remained was just the right color to reflect any light. It's all gone (the grass) and the snows we've had since have flattened it all until the spring seedlings grow again.

Friday Nature: We just got our back deck arranged again and have our feeders in order. The birds have returned, and I can get more bird photos. This was a new photo this winter/spring, and I really got a lucky catch. This bird was still just long enough for me to get a good sharp photo of it and I'm very happy with the result. On to more.
