Predawn Clouds through the Pines

Photo of the Day 93/365

I took this photo on my last day of work (this past Tuesday), but it was too early for the actual sunrise. I liked the deep reds and faint oranges and golds just coming up through the pine trees. These trees are at a tree farm, where the trees are mostly used for Christmas trees. I will likely not get another predawn or sunrise shot for some time as I'm enjoying my time "sleeping in."

Friday Nature: I took this photo on my first day of retirement. I'm working to try to walk more at different times of the day. My first day of freedom was warm, and the clouds were wandering by. There were bouts of sun and shade, and some blue sky and some clouds. Trees and bushes are greening up, and spring is definitely on the way.
