Spring Day over a Green Field

I took this photo yesterday morning while out for a morning walk. The air was crisp, the skies were bright blue, but peppered with clouds drifting by. The recent rain had made the grass very green, and the scenery just seemed to scream "SPRING".  I grabbed a few photos on the walk, but I liked this one the best.

Friday Nature: I took this photo yesterday while looking out our window at our bird feeder. I always look out the window as I make my way through our dining room. Most times, the feeder is empty, but when it has an occupant, I usually go over to the camera I have stationed there, and grab a few pictures. I like this one as it has both a house finch and a gold finch there.

Simple Spring Sunrise Sky Photo of thd Day 88/365 I took this photo yesterday morning on the way to work. Initially, I saw the bright reds at the horizon. However, when I got my car stopped in a safe spot and got out, I saw the "big picture" of the sky. The open sky, the few simple clouds, and the blue to red above, I had to take the larger shot. It was the start to a great (but VERY long) day.

Sunset View through the Window Photo of the Day 83/365 This photo was taken earler in the season. It was taken while waiting for some co-workers while on the campus of the university where I work. We were having dinner and were trying to wait their arrival but travel delays caused things to be late. I decided to look around and see what could be captured - this was the result.

Snow and Ice by the Lake Photo of the Day 51/365 This photo was taken at our local State Park (Gifford Pinchot) and it was a cold sunset sky. It had been cold enough for some time for the lake to freeze over. The snow had started to melt due to the sunshine and that eveing, the sunset was wonderful (but cold). That lade is and will be, one of my fave local spots.
