I took this photo a few days ago while out on a sunset walk. It was an evening when I took a few "good" shots, and the next day, I picked one of the other photos to post. I did like this one, too, and am happy to post it now for everyone's enjoyment.

Dandelion in the Tall Grass

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Thursday Fill-the-Frame: I took this photo last weekend while out on a morning walk. I happened upon this tall-stemmed dandelion among the tall grass of the field that I was passing. It seemed almost lonely. There weren't many other dandelions in that part of the field and it had already gone to seed. I decided to fill the frame with the lone flower.

Simple Spring Sunrise Sky Photo of thd Day 88/365 I took this photo yesterday morning on the way to work. Initially, I saw the bright reds at the horizon. However, when I got my car stopped in a safe spot and got out, I saw the "big picture" of the sky. The open sky, the few simple clouds, and the blue to red above, I had to take the larger shot. It was the start to a great (but VERY long) day.

Sunset View through the Window Photo of the Day 83/365 This photo was taken earler in the season. It was taken while waiting for some co-workers while on the campus of the university where I work. We were having dinner and were trying to wait their arrival but travel delays caused things to be late. I decided to look around and see what could be captured - this was the result.

Snow and Ice by the Lake Photo of the Day 51/365 This photo was taken at our local State Park (Gifford Pinchot) and it was a cold sunset sky. It had been cold enough for some time for the lake to freeze over. The snow had started to melt due to the sunshine and that eveing, the sunset was wonderful (but cold). That lade is and will be, one of my fave local spots.
