Stripes of Color in a Sunset Sky

A few days ago, we were blessed with an awesome sky with gorgeous colors. I stopped, after class, at a number of locations to try to capture that sky as the day came to a close. This photo was from one of the last stops for the evening. I had pulled over at my neighbor's barn and jogged over to the field to try to get a photo. I like the outcome of that effort.

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken earlier this spring. My wife and I had been discussing how some pear trees are now considered an invasive species, so I had them on my mind. I took a hike in our local state game lands and found a clearing with a lone pear tree at the edge, just in front of the woods. I composed the photo, and I do like how it came out.
