Sunset on the River - Welcome Home
Photo of the Day 166/365
On our trip home from vacation, we were exhausted. Between us, we had driven about 700 miles in 12 hours or so. We were tired, and still, my wife wanted to take a more scenic drive on the last leg of our trip. We were driving down by the Susquehanna River just after sunset, and the sky was awesome, and I struggled to turn enough in our car to grab a few good shots - but I managed. What a view to welcome us home.

Lonely Boat on a Foggy Inlet
Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Monday Free-Choice: On our last full day of vacation, we decided to just drive around Mt. Desert Island. We wanted to see places we had seen signs for but never visited - or - we wanted to see places that we had not seen before. This photo was taken at what I would call a backwater wharf. There were guys just sitting on the dock talking and drinking coffee. There were no tourists, and the fog gave it an eerie feel. This boat was further out and just sat by itself. I really liked how the photo came out.
