Double Rainbow over the Field

Last evening, my wife and I decided to get out of the house and go for another drive to scout locations for more sunset photos. The sun was trying to set, but rainclouds were moving in. We drove down a number of roads I had never been on, but we came out of the rain and saw the sun shining through the clouds, and I said we needed to be on the lookout for a rainbow. I got my wish and got a double showing over the field! Happy Father's Day!!

Sunday Monochrome: This image was found when I was out on a late morning walk down a nearby road. This old tree and some of its neighbors sit at the side of the road near a clearing where mulch is stored. In the afternoon, the sunlight filters through the clearing and gently touches these old trees, and I liked the textures of the wood and the grasses nearby.
