Farm after Sunset

Last weekend, I got a wonderful sunset and had to take photos at different locations until the sunset sky ran out. This was one of the last photos I took during our local road trip for this very purpose. I loved how the sunset clouds had broken up just after the sun went down, and the farm in the foreground. The scene projected that "rural" feel for me.

Wednesday People: This is a scan from the slides that I purchased on vacation. The slides were from the early 1960s, and I culled them down to less than 50 percent worth keeping. Many contained churches, people, events, and other places I did not wish to keep. There were, however, some slides containing people, whom I found interesting or humorous. This photo included this gent who was standing alone on the dock amongst more than a few boats, and I wondered whether he fancied himself one of their captains.
