Soft Sunset from the Porch

Two days ago, I found myself, once again, on a walk to try to capture a sunset sky. We have had beautiful skies at sunset for the past few days, after the exhausting heat. I did not make the actual sunset on this walk, but I did find a beautiful sky viewable from the neighbor's porch. I had to take advantage of the view.

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was taken about one year ago while at an urban park in a local city. I was there with my daughter, who was attending a service at the lake. I decided it would be better for me to take a walk around the lake. This was the view from the far end of the lake. It was too late for sky colors, so I shot the photo in monochrome.
