      Morning Sun Shining Through the Trees Photo of Day 121/366 I took this photo yesterday morning when I went out to my car. The colors of the red leaves with the sun shining through time along with the surrounding greenery almost took my breath away. The view is in my front yard and while I don't have the quiet country views of our last home, this one is pretty great.  

      Sun Setting behind a Tree Photo of the Day 120/366 We went to the local assisted care facility to get my father-in-law and  his wife to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Afterwards, we took a drive through the area. I was sitting in the backseat as both of them don't maneuver very well and my father-in-law needs the front seat. I was trying to capture the sunset (as always) and I managed this shot beside my wife's head as she was driving and chatting with her Dad. I took maybe 10 shots in the moment and this was the best one.      

    Old Farmhouse in the Sunset Glow Photo of the Day 119/366 This photo was taken at the end of the winter season, just as spring was making it's entrance. The trees had not shown any foliage yet but the temperatures were acceptable for walks. We were walking on one of our back roads when we decided to take a detour down a "dead end" road. This view greeted us there. 

  Late Afternoon Sun across the Valley Photo of the Day 118/366 This photo shows the view of the last rays of sun crossing the valley. Many times, I'm looking at this valley at sunrise. The angle of the sun and the mist that rises gives me wonderful sunrise views but on this day, I happened by at the end of the day and noticed the view. I thought it was very much worth capturing.

        Reflections and Memories of Cape May Photo of the Day 117/366 When we vacationed in Cape May, New Jersey, my favorite activity was to either walk the shopping area, known as "the mall" or to walk the nature trails at Cape May Point. I was never a "beach person" but more of a "coast person". This view was from somewhere on the nature trailes when I happened to catch a reflection of the Cape May lighthouse in a tidal pool. The photo brings back some of the good times we had there.    

        Clouds and Trees just after Sunset Photo of the Day 116/366 Just before the end of class last evening, I happened to see the colorful sky reflecting against the white walls of the building and took a quick look out the window.  I had to run run out and get this shot. I had glanced out the window the majority of the class, but the sky was OK at best. However, once the sun actually set, the colors in the sky went on overtime and were just brilliant. I just had to step out and grab a few shots (4 in total) and this was one of them.    

Sunset Sky through the Edge of the Woods Photo of the Day 115/366 This photo was taken earlier this year but I never had a chance to post it. I was our walking and missed the actual sun setting - well I saw it set, but only through the thickness of deep woods. When I got to the edge of the woods, I saw the amazing colors of the sky and tried to hurry to catch what I could. This was the result. I am not happy with the power lines in the background but it can't be perfect. I still think it's pretty.
