Last Bits of Autumn Across the Fields Photo of the Day 335/366 I took this photo a few weeks ago. The winds had gone through this valley and stripped many of the leaves from the trees. We wondered then (and now) how some leaves hang on and others don't. The one tree in the middle still is hanging on as are some onthe hill behind these trees. It's just odd - but beautiful - nature has her own ways of doing things.

Frosty Autumn Morning on the Farm Photo of the Day 334/366 I took this photo sometime in the past few weekends ago while out on an early morning errand. We were out before the sunrise and, as always, I was hoping for a nice sunrise, but alas, I was on the wrong side of the car. However, this view presented itself to me. It took a bit of editing to bring out the colors because the camera doesn't always see what I see, but this is now, what I saw out of my car window.

Stippled Sunrise Sky Reflecting in the Creek Photo of the Day 333/366 I took this photo yesterday morning. This part of the creek in on the property of the University where I work. This time of year, the sunrise skies can be spectacular, and yesterday was no exception. The sky showed all the colors of rainbow (except for green), and the reflection in water just sealed the photo as wonderful. I can't be more thankful than I am for what I have. Happy Thanksgiving to all who read this.

Fiery Sunrise Photo of the Day 332/366 This photo was created earlier this year from one of my favorite stops on the way to work. I can't stop there now because the owner put stakes into their yard too close to the road to allow one to pull off. I have been remiss to do my normal photo editing and post this photo because it was too like others I'd posted. I like it for the clouds, the sun, the warmth of the morning. 

Misty Golden Sunrise on the Pond Photo of the Day 331/366 This photo was taken a few weeks ago. I hesitated posting this because, in some ways, it has no discernable foreground but I really liked the layers of the image. I liked the sky, the water with the faint mist, the trees - but it's almost duo-tone image of gold and black. I guess the positives outweighed the negatives and here it is for your enjoyment. I do like the image, though.

Late Autumn View of a Covered Bridge Photo of the Day 330/366 This photo was taken last autumn on a road trip to northern Pennsylvania. We were there and decided to do a tour of the area's covered bridges "on our own" with just a map to guide us. This was one of the many bridges that we found while out driving and discovering. The autumn colors just add to the ambience and nostalgia of the covered bridge, to me.

Wild Red Clouds over Campus Photo of the Day 329/366 I took this photo al little earlier this year, I was walking in towards my building from my car. I had already taken some really nice sunrise photos on the way in when I saw these clouds. I stopped and snapped 2 photos and this one came out the best. There aren't too many times in the year when the morning weather presents itself where I can capture it, on campus. I was fortunate!
